Our Vision & Mission
Our Vision
A thriving planet where communities live in harmony with nature, fostering sustainable ecosystems for future generations — where every person understands their role as a steward of the Earth.
Our Mission
To heal and restore the Earth’s ecosystems by empowering communities through education, sustainable practices, and grassroots environmental action — starting where we live, one village at a time.
What We stand for
Our Purpose
Earth Healers Foundation exists to address the real, ground-level environmental crisis unfolding in the mountain villages of Himachal Pradesh — and to prove that lasting change is possible when communities are empowered to lead it.
♻️ End Open Waste Disposal
We work to stop open garbage disposal and the burning of waste, raising awareness about proper waste management — including the segregation of wet and dry garbage and menstrual waste management at source. Through composting initiatives, we teach residents how to generate wealth from their waste, with the goal of making Kheel Jasli a zero-waste village.
🌱 Restore Green Spaces
We transform dumping sites into sidewalk gardens, plant native trees and flowering plants, and create green spaces that restore the natural beauty of the mountains. We believe that a beautiful environment is one that people choose to protect.
📚 Educate and Empower
Our programmes educate residents — especially youth — on the benefits of a clean and healthy environment, encouraging them to take ownership of their surroundings. We conduct door-to-door awareness drives, school programmes, and community events that build a culture of environmental responsibility from the ground up.
🐾 Promote Animal Welfare
In addition to cleanliness, we promote animal welfare by vaccinating, spaying, and feeding stray animals, setting up Gaushalas, and placing water drums for animals along roadsides — promoting respect for all sentient beings and a life lived in harmony with nature.
🤝 Strengthen Community Bonds
Through our efforts, we aim to strengthen community ties, discourage littering, and uplift the poor, sick, and needy without discrimination. Our goal is to foster a cleaner, greener, and more united village that respects its fragile ecosystem and embraces a sustainable future.
What Guides Us
Our Core Values
Every decision Earth Healers Foundation makes — from the projects we choose to the way we engage with communities — is guided by a set of values rooted in respect, action, and long-term thinking.
🌍 Respect for Nature
We treat the natural world not as a resource to be used but as a living system to be honoured, restored, and protected for future generations.
👐 Community First
We work alongside communities, not for them. Every initiative is designed with the participation and ownership of the people it serves.
⚡ Action Over Words
We believe in doing. When we see a problem, we respond — whether that means picking up garbage, installing a fence, or taking on a government department.
🔁 Sustainability
We build systems that outlast our involvement — composting facilities, trained communities, and institutional relationships that continue independently.
⚖️ Equity & Inclusion
We serve all members of the community without discrimination — regardless of economic status, origin, religion, or background.
🏔️ Devbhumi First
We are rooted in a deep love for Himachal Pradesh — its mountains, its rivers, its villages, and its people. Protecting Devbhumi is personal for us.
Where We're Headed
Our Aim
Garbage-Free Villages
To make Kheel Jasli, Kheel Barser, and Kumarhatti completely garbage free — and to inspire every village in Himachal Pradesh to follow the model we are building.
Our Goal
Self-Sustaining Waste Systems
To build a self-sustaining solid waste management facility with adequate capacity to properly manage all waste streams in an economically and technologically feasible manner — one that runs without external dependence.
“Solid waste management, environment conservation, and community education and participation are the key pillars of sustainable village development. Together we can make a lasting impact — leading to a cleaner and greener Himachal.”
